Prestige explained: when a reset can be progress
Understand what you keep, what you lose, and how Coin Foundry’s permanent multiplier works.
What prestige means
Prestige trades current progress for a permanent advantage in the next run. It is useful when rebuilding with a bonus becomes more attractive than extending the current run. Rules vary by game.
The exact rule in Coin Foundry
Earn 10,000 total coins in one run to unlock prestige. Spending coins does not reduce that total. Prestige resets your spendable coins, run earnings, and purchased upgrades. Your lifetime tap counter stays. Each prestige adds 0.25 to your permanent multiplier.
Additive bonuses, not compounding
One prestige gives a ×1.25 multiplier. Two give ×1.50, and four give ×2.00. The bonus affects both manual tapping and automatic production. It is not a separate cash reward.
Decide before you reset
The prestige button becomes available once the threshold is reached, but you can keep playing. Check your current production and how much time you want to spend rebuilding. There is no universal best reset time for every player.
